Contemplative Art Design is a new company created by Michael Wood, founder of Miksang Contemplative Photography. Miksang Photography is a particular approach to the photographic process which has at its foundation the calm, openness, and clarity which are the hallmarks of the meditative state of mind. The images embody and express these qualities, and so they can be connected with in a simple, direct way by anyone in any setting, being especially helpful for individuals experiencing high levels of stress

The photographic artists represented on this site, all of whom have accomplished the ability to express the principles of Miksang Photography through their photographic images, have gained a reputation over many years as consistent producers of images which offer viewers immediate access to contemplative moments which reconnect them to their basic sense of well being.

Contemplative Art Design will design and install peaceful and health fostering art for both medical and business facilities including hospitals, medical clinics, business offices, and corporate centers. We will provide consultation with office and facility designers and interior decorators who wish to use Miksang images in their facility environments.

As part of this service, Contemplative Art Design will provide museum quality framed contemplative photographs by all the Artists represented in our galleries
